BBQ Ribs

You know how some people are obsessed with steak. Well, I’m a total sucker for ribs. If they’re on the menu most likely I’m going to order them. I only have them a couple times a year and this could be part of the reason why I enjoy them as much as I do. They’re a novelty. I rarely make them, or anything for that matter, the same way twice.

1 tbls salt

1/2 tbls paprika

1/2 tsp cayenne pepper

1/2 tsp black pepper

1 tbls mustard

1 tbls vinegar

1/2 tbls honey

3 lbs baby back pork ribs

2/3 cup BBQ sauce

Preheat oven to 350. Combine first seven ingredients into a bowl and mix well. Place ribs in casserole pan and spoon sauce over ribs. Pour in about 1/2 cup water, broth, or beer if you’re feeling adventurous. Cover with foil and cook for about two to two and a half hours. Let ribs cool before tossing them on the grill

Build a medium/hot fire over on a charcoal grill. Grab the BBQ sauce and mix in any of the remaining drippings from the casserole pan to baste the ribs with while grilling. Grill ribs for about 10 minutes or until nicely coated and heated through.

Transfer to a cutting boar, slice, and enjoy.
